Tesco’s success at the event reflects the retailer’s ever-widening range of Free From products, including a range of ready meals sampled by Synergis at the recent Allergy & Free From Show in Glasgow.
Synergis has worked with Tesco for over 15 years and helped the retailer to launch its Free From range back in 2003. Now worth over £500m, the Free From category is growing fast, and Synergis has spent the past few years working with Tesco to communicate its ethos and range to as wide an audience as possible, including people with coeliac disease and those who choose to follow a gluten and/or dairy-free diet for health reasons. Synergis handles experiential marketing for Tesco including stand design, build, and all elements of implementation at the three main Allergy and Free From shows in London, Glasgow, and Liverpool held each year.
"It’s great to see our long term client Tesco pick up the Retailer of the Year award for the third successive year. The Free From category really is going from strength to strength and we are delighted to sponsor the Free From Food Awards."
Synergis is closely involved with the Free From category and is a sponsor of the awards. Russell Abbott, Managing Director, has also been a judge at the awards for the last 3 years. Regarding Tesco’s success this year, Russell commented: ‘It’s great to see our long term client Tesco pick up the Retailer of the Year award for the third successive year. The Free From category really is going from strength to strength and we are delighted to sponsor the Free From Food Awards. Synergis looks forward to working with Tesco again at the upcoming Allergy & Free From Show in London in July, which is sure to be bigger and better than ever.
